It was a very nice camera for the $70 I spent on it. It has pretty good pixels, zoom, and is very small (great for your pocket or for a very small handbag). It did worry me however, how light it was. But I am not so worried now, because I even bought the 3 year (Accidental Drop/Handling) Warranty and am very glad I did…it seems pretty truthful and helpful! As for why I bought this camera… I already have a very nice Kodak M580 (even with 8x zoom and 14 mp) but it is very unreliable because it freezes up when I need a picture most. The Kodak, is also very heavy and large. So I decided to buy this small, compact, good camera on Black Friday (for a like $15 discount). I think its pretty great. The buttons are positioned in good places, except for the flash, which you have to get to on the menu (making it a little more difficult for quick snap-shots).

Olympus Announces SP-810UZ Digital Camera With 36X Zoom
It is powered by Olympus’s TruePic III+ image processor for processing high-quality images. Olympus has announced the launch of a super zoom digital camera in a compact form factor known as the SP-801UZ. The 801UZ can also take 3D images by snapping two rapid images at slightly different angles to provide depth. The Olympus SP-801UZ will be available in September for $329. The camera features both mechanical and digital image stabilization, enhanced low-light capabilities (ISO 3200 in manual mode), and the ability to shoot 1080p high-definition video. there’s also a panorama more that enables users to combine three shots into a super-wide panorama just by panning the camera.
