I was looking for a few of these 8GB sticks and I couldn't find cheaper with a BIN price. I know Apus is not held in high regard here but they do have a good reputation on ebay, FWIW.

I just received this product, and contrary to other reviews (however, I think one recent review addresses this), this is the new version in which Sandisk is skimping on quality-wise. The performance is slower, the LED is amber (as in the Sandisk Micro flash drives), the material feels much cheaper than the original (really seems like a non authentic Sandisk titanium), and essentially lacks the quality I was expecting when replacing my 4GB cruzer titanium (purposely skipped out on the 16GB titanium that also is available due to the new cheaper manufacturing).

The existence of this problem proved to be something of a thorn in Leica's side, as people rightly expected flawless performance from such a high-cost device, and having it being essentially non-functional with a major brand of SD cards was...
