We’ve just had a short break in the Black Forest resort of Schluchsee, on the shore of the lake with the same name. Actually I didn’t take too many photos, and those I did take were far from spectacular and of little photographic merit, but I did enjoy experimenting with a few early morning shots whilst taking the dog out before the village awoke. We managed to grab a boat trip on the lake before they closed for the season, and had a brisk walk along the lakeside path to Aha. The dog friendly hotel kept us very well fed and served me the occasional beer in the late afternoon sunshine. Not exactly a long holiday, just two nights to be precise, but nevertheless most enjoyable. But there was usually a handy piece of fence, a railing or a bench close by, not perfect but beggars can’t be choosers....

The biggest difference in the two cameras seems to be the increase in resolution to 16 MP on the FH25 (from the 14 MP on the FH20) and the vastly improved AF (auto focus) update that, according to Panasonic, focuses approximately 42% faster. I originally posted this "memory card review" on Amazon's Lumix DMC FH20 page. Special note: my initial reason in deciding to write this review was because Amazon was doing a disservice to its customers by listing a Kingston "Class 4" card in its "Frequently Bought Together" section of this camera. But a Class 4 card will only be good for shooting still photos with this camera. If you want to shoot video (which this camera does excellently), then you must absolutely use a Class 6 card or higher (better). Kingston makes good cards....

It’s common sense: in case your computer systems or cellular units are too heavy to hold round they are useless for mobile computing. These small, virtually pocket sized computer systems are small and light-weight enough which you can virtually put them inside your coat pockets or purses. Cell computing is the flexibility to do computing tasks in some or all possible locations. Here, I will be itemizing (in my view are) the top 4 requirements for mobile computing and my strategies/opinions on those requirements. Since Asus came out with the original Ultra Cell Personal Laptop (UMPC), the EEEPC, almost all laptop corporations have created their own netbook line. An excellent example of a very transportable computing gadget is the Apple MacBook Air: It is small and skinny enough to put in an envelope. There are different requirements for cell computing, and you’ll check them at Wikipedia. They provide comparatively good processing energy for the fundamental computing needs, up to 15 hours of battery life (relying on use) and are cheaper than most full measurement notebooks....
